In 2021, Renovation Church, a growing multi-location church based in Greenville, South Carolina, set out to reimagine their brand. Their mission was clear: refresh their visual identity to better reflect their heart, voice, and evolving community. However, after working with an external vendor, they found themselves at a frustrating standstill. The solutions they were given felt off brand, impersonal, and misaligned with their culture and long term vision.
That’s when I stepped in.
I initiated a collaborative discovery process, sitting down with key leaders across the organization to hear directly from the voices that shape the church’s identity. Through those conversations, I surfaced their core values, tensions, and aspirations and translated that into a creative direction that truly resonated.
Together, we envisioned a brand that was friendly yet grounded, modern yet respectful of tradition. I led the rebrand from strategy through execution, developing a visual identity that struck the balance they were craving. From the primary logo to the iconography and sub brand systems, every piece was intentionally crafted to unify their message and strengthen their presence across campuses, ministries, and media.
The result is a cohesive, revitalized brand that finally feels like them.
